the problem is very difficult.

The thing is, freenet.de changed the domain name for private homepages from "people.freenet.de" to "freenet-homepage.de". They say, it's necessary for security purposes. And my link generator wrote the old name in the old postings. I changed the source code to have the new domain name in the new postings, but I can't change the old postings.

The funny thing is, that freenet.de has not deactivated the old domain name, but has activated a redirection. So the old URLs are working , but only by using Firefox, not Internet Explorer. The Internet Explorer is loosing the given parameter at the redirect process. It's a property of Internet Explorer and probably not to change.

Even if a solution ist possible, it makes no sense to solve the problem, because freenet.de will deactivate the redirection soon. So the links will not work anymore.

The only thing you can do ist to copy the links in clipboard and paste them in a new browser window. It's not a comfortable solution, but I don't see another methods.

The new postings from 2007 - you said it by yourself - are working fine, so I find, we can live with the problem.
