My ears are only 12mm. I started stretching about six years ago now, and took about 18 months to get to 10mm. Another year later, I stretched up to 12mm. I've not stretched them since. I usually wear flesh tunnels. On an average day, with no jewellery in the holes, I can fit my little finger through the holes up to about the second knuckle.

This photo was taken during a party at a friend's house. The pulley is made of iron, and weighed about 2 kilograms. I'm actually holding it up with my hand (out of shot), as it was too heavy otherwise. ;) As it is, the weight of the pulley is stretching my ear down, and making the holes look bigger.
