Sehr wahrscheinlich eine solche Achterbahn, diese ist jedenfalls in diesem Freizeitpark (Thorpe Park) zu finden und es ist der gleiche Fotograf:

I guess that removing earrings does make sense for a ride like that which seems to involve quite some centrifugal forces... Long heavy dangles and heavy hoop earrings with large diameters might end up feeling painfully heavy on the earlobes due to G-forces... Also the place seems to be in America, where they often both wear very large and heavy earrings and also have traditions of lawsuits against just about everyone for everything one can imagine... The owner of the particular ride might primarily just be protecting himself from potential lawsuits for torn earlobes...
Oh, as a side note I just came to think of this: How awesome would it be to work as an assistant earring valet on that ride, tasked with removing and reinserting the earrings of all the customers? Sigh! Just dreaming here and it's hypothetic, but just imagine for a second...?
PS: I'm very sorry for being unable to write in German. I can only understand your beautiful Language reasonably well but not write it unfortunately
